About
Since I was a little girl I’ve loved nature and the outdoors. I’d spend my days playing in mud, climbing trees, building dens and studying insects. Fast-forward a few years and I’m still that very same person.
Life is a little different now as a mum, but motherhood hasn’t stopped me doing the things I love. You’ll still find me hiking, camping and spending time in nature. You see, the outdoors is the perfect tonic for those days where I am too much in my own head and even a short walk can change my mood in an instant.
I’m also determined to raise my daughter as a wilding, with a love and respect for the natural world around her. I want her to feel free, she can splash in muddy puddles, paddle in the sea and climb mountains.
When I’m not outdoors, you’ll find me here, sharing my adventure ramblings, book recommendations and photography, or studying for my BA in Environment Studies.
