The wind howled and the waves crashed against the white sand and jagged rocks. The deserted beach offered some refuge from the incessant rain we had been experiencing. With the tide racing in, it felt wild, dangerous and oh so beautiful. The beaches in Scotland were proving to be isolated pockets of pure beauty. With fine white sand and the bluest of seas. The temperatures were freezing but that didn’t matter, it was beautiful to behold.
