Scotland Postcards 7
Sleeping under the shadow of the mighty Ben Nevis has been amazing. Some evenings it is lit up by a fiery golden glow as the sun sets and other nights it is shrouded in the most menacing of clouds. Looking up at this old collapsed in volcano makes you feel very small and insignificant, this towering giant has the ability to thrill and scare in equal measure.
The moonlight lit up Ben Nevis one night with a pale, ghostly white glow. Dipping behind the clouds, the stars sparkled in the inky black sky above the mountain and the lights of the climbers heading towards to the summit could be seen.
