New Start, New Adventures

Wow, it’s been a long time since I last posted here…

So much has changed in the last year but now with a bit more time on my hands (once baby is asleep), I wanted to bring back this little creative space, as I have really missed sharing my adventures. 2022 was a year full of work, studying and battling pregnancy tiredness and sickness. By the end of the year though. I was a mum and Florence had finally made an appearance.

Adventures certainly changed as I navigated life post baby, my body and mind definitely needed a break, but slowly but surely I’m back to a couple of walks a day and planning bigger adventures over the coming months. There have been a lot of adventures recently including trips to the Peaks, Wells, Cromer and the Isle of Mull, so there will be some posts about those coming up.

Mainly I have found a new love for my local area, I am lucky enough to live a stones throw from the countryside and I am enjoying watching the landscape change with the seasons, looking out for amazing bird life and obviously enjoying a coffee and cake at my favourite shepherds hut.

I’ve six months maternity still to go and lots of annual leave, so my plan is to take Flo on as many adventures, big and small as possible. I want her to enjoy the outdoors as much as I do, she is already mesmerised by the trees and hedgerows. So that’s where this blog will go, mum life, adventures, my usual book recommendations (once I get through my reading list) and more environmental posts as I continue my studies.

So, there we have it, a very brief update, now on with the adventures!
